X – M E N

> O V E R A L L P L O T *

Children are being born with a special gene, known as the X-Factor, which gives them special powers. Slowly, these children became known as Mutants, and slowly became feared by humans. Because of this fear, the Government has begun trying to pass laws against all the mutants of the world. Suddenly two forces of mutants step into the light, both led by former friends. Charles Xavier and his band of X-Men have chosen to fight for the equality of mutants and humans alike, believing firmly that the two species can live together in peace. He’s even created a boarding school for mutant kids to learn about their powers and how to control them under the guise of an academy for extraordinarily talented humans called Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. On the other hand, Holocaust survivor Erik Lehnsherr, now know as Magneto, leads the Brotherhood. This band of mutants believes that all mutants are the superior race, and will stop at nothing to try and exterminate them. Now mutants everywhere must chose a side… either they take a stand or they join the Brotherhood.

**Please note that this particular plot is more based on the movies then the comics (that’s just what I happen to be most familiar with). I tried to keep it generic as possible, but just so that you all know, comic plots are more than welcome too if you prefer those to the movies!**

HUMANS – The average run of the mill people! Most are afraid of the mutants and their powers, but there are some that will fight for mutants as well.

X-MEN – The team of mutants led by Charles Xavier looking to clear the name of mutants for all and to prove to the world that they can be just as helpful to them and the rest of the world.

BROTHERHOOD – The band of mutants led by Erik Lehnsherr. They believe that mutants are the superior beings, and that there is no reason to try to protect humans. They’ll do anything to prove that mutants should be the only species on earth.

MUTANTS – These are mutants that haven’t chosen to fight on either side. But just because of that, doesn’t make them any less deadly.

DEVIL’S FIRE – A product of Aimless~!’s own creation, the Devil’s Fire is a group of humans trained to hunt down and kill mutants. Ironically, the original president of the DF was a mutant, and so far his daughter (unbeknownst to her) is the only other mutant to be in the DF. For more in depth info on this pm Aimless~!!

These are definitely not all of the canons in either the movies or comics. And these groupings are based more-so on the movies again (sorry!) but in any case, comic characters that I’ve left out that you would like to add are more than welcome!!! So are comic plots, so we don’t discriminate!!! =D
