Hey there all!
Welcome to Fatal Genesis!
Now, here on FG you may see stuff you've never seen on any other role-play forum.
Rather then being dedicated to just one world for people to role-play in, this consists of many.
In each world, canons are playable by anyone at anytime.
Here, you'll also be able to do things you usually wouldn't be able to do in the plots
on other sites because they are strickly stuck on the plot.
Don't see a world you would like to role-play in?
No problem!
You're more than welcome to make a request for the worlds you want to see!
Other than that, please feel free to take a look around the site, and enjoy your time here in Fatal Genesis!

Life for you has been less than kind, so take a number, stand in line. We've all been sorry, We've all been hurt, but how we survive is what makes us who we are.
Keisha Regan Catori
the past is in the past
The forest around the rocky platform was quiet. Keisha stood silently, straining her ears for the sound of Pete’s return. Hopefully, he had caught something good. A couple of rabbits maybe or, even better, a deer. Whatever he brought back though was going to be immediately devoured. Just because Keisha was tiny, didn’t mean she couldn’t eat like a horse. It was a customary thing for shifters, so she wasn’t all that upset by it.
A sudden sharp cry made her head fly around so fast that her neck audibly snapped. Within seconds, she was dashing through the forest in the direction the cry had come from. What scared her was that fact that it was too canine of a cry to be anything else. And in the backcountry of Romania, there was no telling how many vampires were wandering around out here. She lengthened her strides, stretching her legs as far as she could over the ground. Two legs were certainly not as fast as four, but she was making them work. Besides, she couldn’t go in claws blazing (as much as she wanted too), especially if Pete was in trouble. If she needed to change, she would, otherwise for now; her human form would do her just fine.
It only took her a matter of minutes to reach the point where she had heard the cry come from. She paused just outside the clearing, letting her crystallized grey eyes take in the image before her.
Pete lay on the ground in the form of a giant red and white wolf. His sides raised as he took a deep breath, then fell again as he exhaled. Relief washed through Keisha like a wave. He wasn’t dead… just knocked out. A large buck lay not far from him, a deep and gushing wound in its neck, but there was nothing else. Keisha slunk forward from the shadows, moving carefully beside Pete. She couldn’t piece together what had happened, and she let her eyes slide over to the buck again. Slowly, she reached out a hand to touch the side of the massive wolf’s face when one freezing cold hand caught her wrist and another clapped over her mouth before she could let out a growl.

PJ stalked silently through the quiet forest, straining his ears for any source of noise that would indicate an animal nearby. He had left Adrianna behind so that he could hunt, much to her utter displeasure. It pained him to say, but he was in desperate need for some alone time. He stopped for a moment, shoving his hands in his pockets and looked around at the patches of sunlight filtering through the leaves in the forest around him. Slowly he inhaled a deep breath, held it only for a moment, and let it out in a rush. The peacefulness of the forest could put even the stormiest thoughts in PJ’s mind to rest. And he’d been thinking a lot lately.
At the small snap of a twig in the distance, PJ turned his head in that direction idly, taking in another deep breath. Only a second later, he was taking off through the forest at break-neck speed. The leaves and branches around him barely moved an inch, leaving hardly any kind of noise in his wake. As he neared the animal he had originally heard, a foul smell hit his nostrils and his mouth contorted in disgust. He knew the smell from somewhere but he couldn’t quite place it. Even so, just underneath the foul smell, he could suddenly smell the blood of a deer.
He picked up the pace, and came to a sudden stop behind a tree at the edge of a clearing. Glancing around the trunk, PJ spotted a large red wolf standing over a large buck. So that explained the smell then. PJ’s lips pulled over his teeth in a quick smirk at the shifter. He rushed forward, slamming his shoulder in to the wolf’s side. The canine let out a sharp cry before hitting the ground again, making PJ cringe. Shifters tended to travel in packs. If there was another one close by, they would have heard that. PJ hadn’t so much as finished the thought that he heard something rushing in their direction.
Jumping quickly, he caught a tree branch and hauled himself up, just as a young female reached the edge of the clearing. From where he was, he couldn't get a clear view of her face, but he watched carefully as she snuck toward the red wolf, taking in his knocked out state and the buck as well. PJ dropped behind the girl silently and moved toward her. Just as she was reaching out to touch the red wolf, PJ clapped his hand over her mouth and grabbed her wrist tightly.
Yanking her back to hold her tightly against his chest, PJ pulled her wrist behind her back just enough to keep her restrained. “Don’t struggle if you know what’s good for you…” he whispered carefully in her ear, but not daring to remove his hand just yet. “If you cooperate, maybe we can work something out…” PJ spun the shifter girl around to look at her face… and everything stopped suddenly. His hands dropped to his sides and his pale golden eyes were fixated on her grey ones. It was almost as if he had been sucked into a wormhole, and the only things that existed were himself and this girl before him. Oh no… was the only thought he could manage as he let her grey eyes bore into his golden ones.

Keisha bit back a growl against the icy cold hand that clamped over her mouth. Vampire. Of course, she should have known. But something in the back of her mind was trying to comprehend how he snuck up on her. He moved her wrist quickly behind her back, gripping her forcefully to his chest. In some dormant part of her mind, she realized how sculpted his chest actually was, and even more surprising, her body took note of how well she fit to him.
Just as she was about to try and fight the vampire off, he spoke. The voice in her ear was rough, and she could feel herself melt with every syllable. What in the hell was wrong with her? She should want to fight for her life, not listen to him and want to be held like this. At least not by a vampire anyway… That spot should have been reserved for one person and one person only…
The sinking feeling in her stomach was enough to set ice through her veins. And that was before he turned her around. When her stormy grey eyes met his melting-gold ones, the entire world dropped away. Keisha knew what was happening as soon as it started. Her heart ached for him even though they were already so close, and she wanted nothing more than to have his arms around her. Keisha forced herself to take a step backwards. Her mind was racing suddenly. This can’t be… I can’t have imprinted on him… on a vampire…
“This… this can’t be right…” Keisha whispered more to herself but she knew he’d still be able to catch it. Every part of her ached for it to be true, but instinct was more powerful and every fiber of her being told her this was the most wrong thing in the world. And yet she didn’t care. She stared at the vampire in front of her, drinking every inch of him in, and trying desperately to etch every detail she could into her mind. It wasn’t enough for her to just look at him, she needed to study him. She needed to make every moment from here on out last… because she knew she only had a very short time. “I…” she started softly, but the words got caught in her throat. How was any of this normal? Then again, she wasn’t exactly your normal girl to begin with.

PJ stared in awe at the girl before him. She was beautiful, for a shifter, her blonde hair cascaded in soft curls around her shoulders, and her icy grey eyes looked at him with a longing to rival his own feelings. He knew almost immediately that she had succumbed to the instinctual wolf imprinting process that he’d only heard about… and PJ knew that even he had fallen prey to the mating that vampires underwent. When they met their soul mates, their hearts were said to awaken and start beating again. Well sorta. At the very least it definitely felt like that considering he felt like his heart was doing back flips in his chest. Even her scent, which for a shifter should have been absolutely repulsive to him, didn’t take on the disgusting dog scent that the others did. He had barely noticed it before, but now he did. She smelled like the forest after a rainstorm, a smell that he had loved since he was a child. PJ found himself gazing intently at her, trying his hardest to memorize every little thing he could about it, scent included.
He didn’t think he could fall anymore in love with her than he already was, but then she spoke. It was barely a whisper, but he knew that she was aware he’d hear her clearly. Her voice was angelic and against his will PJ found himself trying to remember every pitch. He was also relatively surprised that her dismay didn’t really phase him at all. When he realized that she wasn’t going to talk again, PJ shook his head at her. “Wait… please… I…” He suddenly understood why she had stopped speaking herself. PJ wasn’t just sure what to say. Instead he settled on the one thing he knew he wanted her to know. “I… uh… I’m Peter… PJ actually… Uh, most people call me PJ…” he said it so quickly and he stumbled over his words.
Somehow, some way, he managed to rip his eyes from her as embarrassment flooded through him. Sure, he was generally shy around girls, but this… this was something else entirely… He didn’t know what to say to her… Actually he did. But he wasn’t exactly sure what she would say… PJ’s golden eyes wandered to the wolf lying on the ground, and for the first time in his life he felt awful. Obviously, she must know the other shifter, or else she wouldn’t have rushed to his side. He sucked in a breath and looked at her again. “I’m sorry… I didn’t realize… I mean I didn’t mean to you know…” he said lamely, gesturing slightly at the red wolf. Finally, something in his mind just told him to keep going. PJ slowly reached out, letting his hand hang in the air between them. “Please… don’t run… not yet… Stay… Please?” he said softly, trying his hardest to convey how much he wanted her to agree, and at that point how much he needed her to stay.
